Brek grew up with a deaf sister and as a small child was in and out of the audiologist and speech therapy offices. When he was getting ready to go to college, his sister’s audiologist asked him what he was going to study and told him that if he like audiology he would have a job working for him when he was finished with school. Brek did just that and worked for his sister’s audiologist for three years before buying a practice and moving to Boise. Since then he has fit his father, grandmother, and four uncles with hearing aids. Brek has a deep and personal understanding of how important hearing is to an individual and his or her family.
